Who do you think you can trust?
We often want to trust man (people) more then we trust God.
But people make mistakes and you can’t   trust them. That doesn’t mean not to be friends with them   it just means there
not perfect most friends if there true friends would never do anything to hurt you on purpose but we can make mistakes.
But God will always be there always with are best entrance in mind. So we need to rely on him not man.
So were gone to talk about some ways to develop a closer relationship with are Lord.

“It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in men

1.setting times threw out the day to thank or praise God. (While driving, thank him at work, set your watch at different
times of day to stop and praise him)(Help remember him)
Hebrews 13:15
“Buy him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to
his name”.
2.Open your self up to him so he can speak.( Quiet atmosphere, keep your mind clear so he can speak) woods, or the lake)
Threw the bible you will read about Jesus going to a quiet place to pray, get fulfilled, and here from God. He’s a
perfect example.
Mark 1:35
“ Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, were he
prayed.”
Col 3:23
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
Continual meditation
1.Set time a side each day to pray, or worship, read (alone time)
You could read the bible, or pray and talk to God read other christen books.
Romans 12:2
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will
be able to test and approve what God’s will is –his  good, pleasing and perfect will.”
When we set time a side to spend with are Lord it will renew are minds so we can see things correctly.
2.contiuely remembering that he’s here and with you.
Deuteronomy 31:8
“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do
not be discouraged.””
The Lord is with us he wants to pert eked us and remind us to make right choices and he wants to be involved in
everything in are lives.
Desire friendship with God more than anything else.

“ But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
God wants us to seek him above all he doesn’t want to be second in anything. When we put him first everything else falls
into place.

God wants us to listen to what he tells us and we can do that buy doing what he says even if its scary.

“Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash you hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts you double

So if we truly want to get closer to the Lord we need to ask God to forgive us if were not putting him first. Turn away
from it and make ever effort to put him first in everything
